About the role

Customers run the platform in some of the most demanding environments in the world, including on-premise and air-gapped deployments where a broken release cannot simply be patched an hour later. You will own quality across the platform and be the gatekeeper for every release: every release candidate passes through a structured QA phase before it ships, and your sign-off is what stands between the engineering team and production. You will build the automation, regression suites and release readiness criteria that make that gate fast and dependable.

This is a Senior role on our Platform Engineering team, London · Hybrid.

What you'll do

• Own the release quality gate: test every release candidate end-to-end and give the go/no-go sign-off before anything ships.
• Build and maintain automated test coverage, API, integration and end-to-end UI, wired into CI so every pull request is quality-gated before merge.
• Design and maintain regression suites over the core journeys: chat, agents, connectors and permissions, model routing, governance and reporting.
• Test AI behaviour, not just code: repeatable approaches for verifying guardrails, evals and routing where outputs are non-deterministic.
• Verify releases across deployment topologies, multi-tenant cloud, single-tenant, on-premise and air-gapped.
• Own defect management end-to-end, from reproduction and triage through to verified closure.
• Embed a test-as-you-build culture: release readiness criteria, coverage standards and clear test documentation.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience owning QA for a complex SaaS or enterprise platform: strategy, planning, execution and release sign-off.
• Strong test automation in a modern TypeScript/JavaScript stack, Playwright or Cypress, API-level testing, and CI integration.
• Deep release and regression discipline within a structured branching model, with formal sign-off before production.
• Comfortable testing well beyond the browser: APIs, data integrity, permissions and multi-tenant behaviour, environment-specific configuration.
• Meticulous, structured and self-directed, able to define what solid means and hold the line on it under release pressure.
• Nice to have: testing AI or LLM-powered products, Kubernetes and Helm exposure, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 environments, eligibility for UK SC clearance.
