Full Time (40hrs p/w). Reports to: Head of Operations. Studio-based, London UK. Deadline for Applications: 5pm, 25/09/2026. Start Date: ASAP. Who We Are: MASAJ is London's leading massage and Bodywork company, focused on inclusive community and sustainable, values-led practices. The Role: Act as the intelligent client for everything related to physical Studios. Set standards, manage contracts and hold outsourced contractors/suppliers to account. Build processes to prevent repeat issues. Own day-to-day condition, safety and statutory compliance for every Studio and act as de facto Responsible Person for fire safety. Work closely with the Head of Operations with real input into how Studios operate. Key Responsibilities include: Studio Standards & Condition—own daily facilities condition, audits, identify gaps and build solutions. Contractor & Supplier Management—lead contact for outsourced contractors; manage key suppliers; triage and coordinate maintenance issues. Health, Safety & Compliance—overall responsibility across sites; maintain/renew all regulatory requirements and statutory testing; coordinate First Aid and Fire Marshal training; incident escalation. Studio Openings & Change—support openings/refurbs/closures. Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement—design and maintain SOPs and handbooks; own maintenance reporting process; track/report compliance KPIs. About You: Enjoy setting and upholding standards; comfortable in plant rooms and with commercial discussions; highly organised, detail-driven, calm under pressure; motivated by ownership and building robust processes. Skills & Experience (Essential): proven facilities/site/compliance management (ideally multi-site retail/hospitality/wellness); strong knowledge of UK H&S and fire safety (ideally Responsible Person experience); confident managing outsourced contractors; track record building/improving SOPs; comfortable in fast-moving, freelance-led, multi-site environments; clear communicator; highly organised; willing to work at least one weekend day most weeks and travel between Studios/Head Office. Desirable: IWFM Level 4/5; NEBOSH or IOSH. What Success Looks Like: safe, presentable Studios operating to brand standard; contractors held to account and issues resolved pre-emptively; compliance and licensing always current; SOPs/handbooks maintain standards at scale; Head of Operations can confidently delegate. Example KPIs: 100% statutory renewals ahead of deadline; 95%+ maintenance requests resolved within SLA; zero repeat facilities/compliance issues quarter-on-quarter.
