Salary: £32,000 / year (pro-rata)
Working hours: 40 hours a week including a paid lunch hour. Flexible start (between 8am and 10am) and finish (between 4pm and 6pm) times.

Our team in the UK has grown to more than 50 people and we're not stopping there, we’re looking for a superstar Materials Procurement Executive to join the team.
The role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Materials Procurement Executive to join MOTH Drinks on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role within the MOTH Operations team, focused on sourcing, managing and optimising materials delivery across our product range with a particular focus on packaging, including boxes, labels and pallets.
You’ll be joining a fast-moving FMCG brand at an exciting stage of growth, working closely with our operations, sales and marketing teams to ensure our packaging is delivered on time, to spec and on budget.
The team are based in our London office in Paddington. You’ll be expected to be in the office most of the time, with some UK travel to visit suppliers as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Source and procure packaging materials including boxes, labels and pallets from our supplier base
- Manage purchase orders end-to-end, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate quantities
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, managing performance and resolving issues proactively
- Review and negotiate pricing and terms to drive cost efficiencies where possible
- Support the wider materials planning team
- Manage packaging intake documentation and maintain accurate records in our ERP system
- Track and report on packaging inventory, flagging risks and shortfalls early, mitigating risks where possible with a solutions focussed mindset
- Support new packaging development or NPD projects as required
- Identify and implement process improvements in packaging procurement
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have direct experience in procurement, logistics or ordering within an FMCG environment and be confident managing supplier relationships independently. You’ll be comfortable working at pace in a small, close-knit team were taking initiative and getting things done really matters. You’ll know your way around a purchase order, have a razor-sharp eye for detail, and understand the importance of getting materials delivered to the right place on time.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in procurement or materials ordering (essential)
- Knowledge of packaging materials - boxes/corrugate, labels, pallets and related formats
- Experience managing supplier relationships and purchase orders
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator, able to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Fluent with Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable with MRP systems (e.g. Unleashed)
