About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior People Partner who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to have real impact. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders to shape teams, strengthen leadership, and build a high-performing, inclusive culture.
You’ll blend strategic thinking with hands-on delivery equally comfortable advising and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen. You’ll own end to end people partnering for Legal and Finance functions, acting as the connective tissue between leadership, employees, and the wider People team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Partnering with Leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people-related topics
- Shape organisational design, team structures, spans/layers, and ways of working
- Translate business priorities into clear, actionable people plans with measurable outcomes
- Support leaders in setting team goals, improving effectiveness, and building accountability
- Partner on headcount planning and hiring strategies for critical roles
- Ensure strong onboarding and integration for new hires
- Identify, retain, and accelerate high-potential talent
- Support internal mobility and career progression frameworks
- Embed a high-performance culture with clear expectations and consistent standards
- Support calibration, performance reviews, and reward decisions
- Coach managers to have effective performance and development conversations
- Address underperformance with clarity, fairness, and speed
- Coach and develop leaders at multiple levels, from first-time managers to senior stakeholders
- Support leadership team effectiveness (cadence, decision-making, alignment)
- Partner with L&D to design and deliver targeted capability-building initiatives
- Champion an inclusive, transparent, and high-performance culture
- Lead engagement cycles (surveys, listening sessions) and drive follow-through
- Improve employee experience across key moments that matter (onboarding, promotion, exits)
- Act as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive employee relations matters
- Support teams through growth, change, and ambiguity (e.g. restructures, rapid scaling, new leadership)
- Enable and support implementation of acquisitions and joint ventures
- Help leaders communicate effectively and bring teams with them
- Use people data (engagement, attrition, performance, DEI metrics) to identify trends and risks
- Translate insights into practical actions and track impact over time
- Build simple, effective dashboards and narratives for leadership
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies
- Partner with Reward on compensation reviews, benchmarking, and equity decisions
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring, People Enablement on culture, performance and leadership and People Operations on governance and execution
- Strong experience as a People Partner / HR Business Partner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting Corporate Functions
- Track record of partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision making
- Commercial mindset - you understand how people strategy drives business performance
- Experience supporting organisational growth, change, and transformation
- Confident handling complex employee relations issues
- Data literate, with the ability to turn insight into action
- Excellent judgement, communication, and coaching capability
- Experience in high growth, scaling, or tech led organisations
- Experience supporting specific functions (e.g. Corporate Functions, Legal and Finance)
- Experience of running projects or programmes of work
- Exposure to international teams or multi-region environments
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
