About Relation

Relation is an end-to-end biotech company developing transformational medicines, with technology at our core. Our ambition is to understand human biology in unprecedented ways, discovering therapies to treat some of life’s most devastating diseases. We leverage single-cell multi-omics directly from patient tissue, functional assays, and machine learning to drive disease understanding—from cause to cure.

This year, we embarked on an exciting dual collaboration with GSK to tackle fibrosis and osteoarthritis, while also advancing our own internal osteoporosis programme. By combining our cutting-edge ML capabilities with GSK’s deep expertise in drug discovery, this partnership underscores our commitment to pioneering science and delivering impactful therapies to patients.

We are rapidly scaling our technology and discovery teams, creating a unique opportunity to join one of the most innovative TechBio companies. At the heart of London, our state-of-the-art wet and dry laboratories provide an exceptional environment where interdisciplinary collaboration thrives. Together, we’re pushing the boundaries of drug discovery and transforming groundbreaking science into impactful therapies for patients.

We believe that innovation flourishes through diversity and collaboration. As an equal opportunities’ employer, we are committed to building inclusive teams where everyone can contribute their unique perspectives and thrive. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, fostering an environment where every team member is empowered to do their best work and reach their highest potential.

By joining Relation, you’ll become part of an exceptionally talented team with extraordinary leverage to advance the future of drug discovery. Your work will help shape our culture, influence our strategic direction, and, most importantly, make a lasting difference in the lives of patients.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to support the execution of Relation’s future clinical and observational research programmes. This role will play a key part in coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure studies are delivered efficiently and to the highest scientific and operational standards.

You will work closely with clinical operations, translational science, data science, and external CRO partners to ensure the smooth delivery of programmes as Relation advances its pipeline toward the clinic.

This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative environment at an early stage of clinical development and help build the operational foundations for future clinical programmes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operational management of clinical and observational studies

  • Coordinate timelines, milestones, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners

  • Support study start-up activities including site identification, feasibility, and vendor selection

  • Manage CROs, clinical vendors, and academic collaborators

  • Ensure studies are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards

  • Track study progress and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies

  • Support preparation of study documentation including protocols, study plans, and operational plans

  • Facilitate communication across clinical, translational, and data science teams

  • Maintain oversight of study budgets, timelines, and reporting

  • Contribute to the development of scalable clinical operations processes as the company prepares for interventional trials

Professionally, You Have

  • Experience managing clinical or observational studies within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and timelines

  • An understanding of clinical development processes and study operations

  • Experience working with CROs and external clinical vendors

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with scientific and technical teams

  • Experience in early-stage biotech or translational research environments is highly desirable

Personally, You Are

  • A highly collaborative team player who works effectively across cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, translational science, and external partners

  • Passionate about advancing science and contributing to therapies that make a meaningful difference for patients

  • Highly organised, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex studies, timelines, and competing priorities

  • A clear and confident communicator, comfortable engaging with both scientific and operational stakeholders

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, able to identify risks early and drive practical mitigation strategies

  • Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership while working independently in a fast-paced biotech environment

  • Adaptable and resilient, able to navigate evolving programme needs while maintaining a focus on high-quality delivery

Join us in this exciting role, where your contributions will have a direct impact on advancing our understanding of disease risk and supporting our mission to bring transformative medicines to patients. Together, we’re not just conducting research — we’re setting new standards in the field of machine learning and drug discovery. The patient is waiting.
