The Role

We're looking for someone with deep, hands-on UK financial advice experience to join the Domain Specialist team at Saturn. You'll be the internal authority on how advice works in practice, how suitability logic and rationale should be expressed, how workflows vary across firm types, and how all of that translates into product and AI decisions.

The role is to continue the institutionalisation of domain knowledge - turning real-world advice practice into structured, scalable inputs that Product, Engineering, and AI teams can build on.

What You'll Do

• Provide an understanding of how advice is delivered in practice - from fact find through to suitability, implementation, and review

• Define what "great" looks like for outputs - helping build the rubric and quality bar

• Translating real-world advice practice into structured product inputs

• Work directly with AI and Engineering teams to encode domain context into prompts, retrieval sources, and tool assumptions

• Build durable documentation, maintaining a living knowledge base

• Working closely with Product to shape the direction of Saturn

Who You Are

• Deep hands on-experience within UK financial advice - e.g. paraplanning, advice technical roles. You've lived the workflows.

• Strong understanding of suitability and advice rationale

• Technically grounded across pensions, investments, tax wrappers, and complex advice scenarios

• Excellent writer and communicator. You can articulate complex processes clearly in writing and verbally

• Intellectually rigorous with a natural tendency to question assumptions

• Understand how advice practice varies across firm types

Nice To Have

• Experience working closely with technology or product teams

• Exposure to AI/ML products, particularly where domain grounding and output quality matters

• Experience building training materials, internal enablement, or knowledge management systems

• CII/CISI qualifications or equivalent technical advice credentials
