About LabCycle

At LabCycle, we’re on a mission to turn lab plastic waste from a climate problem into a circular- economy solution. We’re a fast-moving cleantech startup, tackling one of the biggest sustainability

challenges in science and healthcare.

Our proprietary technology decontaminates single-use plastic waste from research and healthcare

labs so it can be safely cleaned, recycled and transformed back into high-grade plastic feedstock for

new lab consumables - reducing waste, emissions and energy use compared to traditional disposal

and sterilisation methods.

Position Overview

This role will focus on onboarding laboratories and research organisations into LabCycle’s plastic- recycling service, developing new commercial relationships, and building a strong national sales

pipeline. You will play a critical role in driving sustainability adoption across the life sciences sector

while supporting early-stage sales strategy in a fast-moving technology startup.

The role will involve remote engagement through email and video calls, with UK site visits for

progressed or successful opportunities. You will also support the negotiation and execution of service

agreements and order forms, ensuring a smooth commercial journey from first contact through to

operational onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the CEO to shape and execute early-stage sales and account-growth

strategies.

2. Identify, approach, and onboard new laboratory and research customers across the UK.

3. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact through to signed agreements.

4. Lead discovery calls, video meetings, and site visits for progressed opportunities.

5. Support negotiations and manage service agreements, order forms, and onboarding

documentation.

Key Skills and Traits

1. Background in sales, business development, or account management.

2. Experience in a tech startup or early-stage commercial environment preferred.

3. Personable, confident communicator able to engage scientific and technical stakeholders.

4. Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.

5. Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
